Haw to resist peer pressure.

What is peer pressure? It can be understood as positive or negative reaction that occurs when one is influenced by certain people
. People doing wrong things often want to be sure that other people follow them. They feel better if others also commit ill acts. Sometimes we can feel pressure from these people. It's common situation among teenagers because young people experience a huge demand for peer recognition. It's normal thing but you should remember that compromise with our ethical standards leads to loss of freedom. Trust your own feelings and know your personal limits. It's important to have peer recognition but to be in harmony with your conscience is much more important thing. Choose your friends carefully. Good friend never asks you to do ill acts. If your friends share your beliefs you will reduce the amount of peer pressure you may experience. Discuss this topic with your parents and teacher. They can give you helpful advice, as they probably have experience with peer pressure too. Remember that wrong actions can't lead to good results. Only people with strong moral principles can be free in their life choices.
